Join us for a week as our Camp Nurse/Medical Professional! We are seeking folks with RN, Nurse Practitioner, MD level credentials to help serve the needs of Camp Shaver! Your role would be to follow our protocols to keep camp a safe and healthy environment. If you are interested in joining us during your 1 week stay you would be allowed up to 2 campers (related to you) to participate in our program for free. Sign up now to help us make 2025 the best summer in Shaver's History! Since 1945, YMCA Camp Shaver has been providing quality fun & educational programs for the youth of New Mexico and the Southwest. Located in the Beautiful Jemez Mountains of New Mexico, Camp Shaver provides the youth of today a safe and awe-inspiring setting to develop self-esteem & personal character, learn teamwork, gain a sense of community, and develop an appreciation and respect for the environment.

The YMCA of Central New Mexico Sports League offers a variety of youth sports programs designed to promote healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility in a fun and supportive environment. Our league includes sports such as futsal/soccer, basketball, and volleyball - catering to children from ages 3 to 17 of all skill levels. These young athletes will learn important life skills such as team work, fair play, leadership, and perseverance while making new friends and staying active. We need volunteer Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Team Parents - you are the backbone of our Sports Programs! Sports Volunteers provide mentorship and guidance, helping to shape the athletic and personal growth of our young participants. Your dedication ensures that each child receives attention and encouragement on their journey. Giving your time and expertise creates an inclusive atmosphere that benefits everyone involved.
